Tasting Notes
Medium carmine garnet with purple reflections and a broad ochre rim. Multi-faceted bouquet of red forest fruits, nuances of strawberry, cherry and herbs underlaid with fine oak savouriness and a hint of white nougat. Complex, tightly meshed palate carried by ripe tannins and subtle berry fruits. With salty minerality on the finish, it is lively, savoury and shows length and ageing potential. A classy Pinot at an unbelievable price. You can safely forget Burgundy.
