Brilliant, rich ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Presents itself with notes of dark cherries and ripe plums, with a hint of cold smoke. Very polished attack, opens up with finely woven tannins and juicy dark cherry. Good drive on the finish with some coffee grounds in the aftertaste.
