Tasting Notes
Candied lemon peel, yasmine, lemon balm, spicy slate notes. A Spätlese that impresses more with substance than sweetness, the taut acidity gives the wine direction and background, the tactile minerality puts it under high tension, but with great length. Will age sublimely, and for two decades.
More about the tastingVery classic aroma: slate savouriness, balsamic, citric (but not unripe) notes. The palate is flawlessly balanced: a sweetness with a paradoxically dry flavour, crystalline acidity, intense minerality, dense and weightless all in one. Wow!
