Intense, impenetrable ruby red with a flint reflex. Rich nose of dark berries, blackberries, slight hints of shoe polish and sealing wax, honeycomb on the finish. Dark fruit on the palate with lots of salt, grippy tannins, expands nicely, packs a power on the finish and finishes with a slightly drying finish.
