The red wine Anfiteatro IGT, vintage 2007 from the winery Vecchie Terre di Montefili has been rated in 2012 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby colour. Very intense and clear nose, full flavours of ripe cherry, some plum and blackberry, then fine cinnamon notes. Develops very smoothly and elegantly on the palate, lots of fine-grained tannins, describes a wide arc, still appears very young on the finish.
