The red wine Cabernet Riserva Colli Euganei DOC, vintage 2011 from the winery Vignalta has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Arquà Petrarca in Italy.
This has a deep dark ruby red colour, with a discreet brightening on the rim. There are very ripe notes on the nose, with aromas of molasses, hazelnut, cranberry, stony notes, and cold smoke. It is beautifully ripe on the palate, with creamy fruit, but also rich earthy tannins. It is accessible, and it is ready to drink and enjoy now.
