The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Villa Calcinaia - Conti Capponi has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intensely shimmering garnet red with a dark core. Exceptionally fragrant, opens on purple blossom and rich cherry fruit, with a slight hint of rosemary, mint and dark chocolate. Rich on the palate, builds up with a beautiful mellowness, shows velvety tannins, with good persistence, powerful and long-lasting on the finish.
