The white wine Enkircher Steffensberg Riesling, vintage 2018 has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Balsamic notes, followed by grapefruit and some crushed rock. Quite sweet on the palate for a "feinherb" label, but completely harmonious in itself: powerful, but also nuanced, clearly salty, sweetness and acidity are both very vivid and will merge into an amalgam as the wine matures in the bottle. The late harvest style is within reach.
