Tasting from 01.10.2020: Dominik Vombach, Benjamin Herzog, Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Dark, elegant ruby red with garnet. Ripe cassis, blackberry, forest fruits, delicate liquorice, fine leather savouriness, multi-layered on the nose. Spans a wide fan across the tongue, firm, grippy tannin provides support, perceptible oak savouriness, shows ripe berry fruit in the mid-palate, very powerful, unfortunately slightly drying on the finish.
