The red wine Urmeneta Carmenère, vintage 2015 from the winery Viña San Pedro Tarapaca has been rated in 2016 by Axel Biesler und Marco Lindauer with 86 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Carmenère from the region Central Valley in Chile.
Initially clearly reductive, which is slowly replaced by ripe blueberries and cassis. Juicy fruit flavor with soft tannins and a sweet-spicy contour. Unfortunately, it does not lose its reductive nature. The screw cap was perhaps not the best choice.
