Dark ruby colour, purple reflections, brightening on the rim. Fine toasty aromas, reductive savouriness, black cherries, hints of graphite and tar, blueberry confit underneath. Taut, lively structure, red cherries, fine, silky tannins, salty and full of finesse in the finish. Already harmonious and gluggable, certain ageing potential.
