Dark ruby, good depth, delicate orange reflections, lighter rim. Underlay of subtle nougat, sweet black fruit of the forest, nuances of liquorice and blackberry, and a hint of candied orange zest. Juicy, elegant, pleasant fruit, ripe supporting tannins, fine cassis and a chocolaty touch on the finish, with notes of sweet prune on the back palate. It has very good length and further aging potential.
