Strong amber with a delicately browned core, broad ochre rim. Smoky, spicy, clear woody spice, fine dried fruit notes, hints of candied lime and dried herbs. Lean and red berry, pickled cherries, ripe tannins, dark nougat and raisins, very good persistence, fine rancio, spicy style with a salty finish. (PM)
