Light, cloudy golden yellow in colour. On the nose, aromas of dried, un-sulphured apricot, balsamic notes, and orange confit. The palate shows a fairly dry phenolic character, well-integrated acidity, then noticeable mineral notes of flint and shattered rock, there is also a medicinal undertone. Overall, the wine perhaps lacks the body and softness for the tannins, but the potential for ageing is undoubtedly good.
