Der Wein besticht durch seine rubinrote Farbe und überzeugt im Duft durch das fruchtige Aroma von schwarzer Kirsche und dunklen Waldbeeren. Die Lagerung im Eichenholzfass (Barrique) verstärkt den besonders samtig weichen Eindruck am Gaumen, der von einem Hauch Vanille begleitet wird. Der Abgang ist lang anhaltend. Empfehlung: zu Rindfleisch-, Wild- und Gänsebraten, hervorragender Begleiter zu würzigem Käse, empfohlene Trinktemperatur: 15 – 18 grad C

You would blindly place this fragrance in France: notes of cigar box and undergrowth, ripe black cherry, black pepper. Medium-bodied on the palate with silky tannins, mild acidity and a woody, creamy finish. A fairly complete red wine.
