The red wine Gächlingen Schlemmweg Pinot Noir, vintage 2016 from the winery Weinbau Markus Ruch has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Canton of Schaffhausen in Switzerland.
Dark and light berries on the nose, with red cherries and a hint of forest floor, as well as floral and spice notes - it's very complex. Extremely elegant on the palate, it's powerful, but nevertheless supported by a lively acidity and sustains a long finish. Northern Swiss Grand Cru with great ageing potential.
