The white wine Upupa Orange Mitterberg IGT, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Abraham has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gewürztraminer from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Intensely bright, light amber. Very appealing and intense nose, full of yellow rose, plus lychee, candied ginger and clove, extremely exciting. Juicy and with a very good flow on the palate, the aromatic components are all there, but the wine is characterised by salty components, long finish, light tannin on the finish, gives additional nuances.
