The white wine »Auftakt« Solaris, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Abthof – Martin Koch has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Solaris from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Ripe pear on the nose, yellow fruit such as mango and candied ginger. Good substance on the palate, ripe acidity, mellowness, spiciness and some fruit sweetness, harmonious and balanced in proportion. A generous wine that also goes well with stronger dishes.
