The white wine »Reserva Privada« Siefersheim Heerkretz Riesling, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Achenbach, mein Bioweingut has been rated in 2018 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
On the nose there is an oaky character, with notes of a spicy minerality, as well as cardamom, hot stone, Earl Grey tea, and some yellow plum. It is supple on the palate, again with distinct oak flavours, is slightly viscous, with some ripe acidity, and nice texture and charm combined with sweet fruit. It is maturing well with further reserves, and it has a long finish.
