The white wine Riesling »Marienglas« Gips, Untertürkheim, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Aldinger has been rated in 2012 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Fermented spontaneously in wood until June. Golden yellow color. Deep, ultra-ripe and juicy on the nose. Extremely rich, ripe and fruity on the palate, almost oily in consistency, but initially kept on its toes by spicy minerality and fine acidity. The finish, however, is almost overpowering due to the low acidity (4.6 grams). An opulent wine.
