Tasting Notes
"Sine" = without destemming, without the addition of yeasts, without chaptalization, without the addition of sulphur, without filtration. Comparatively strong color - received very different ratings as a result. In this case, however, the dark color is more likely due to the lack of added sulphur than to any blending. Some wood, but also typical Trollinger character: sloe, marzipan - after contact with the air also notes of lime plaster and sandstone. Fine-grained, dense tannins, yet remaining delicate, very high tannin quality, lots of juiciness. Powerful, mineral wine that can reach 90 points when ripe for drinking.
