Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle ochre rim brightening. Candied mandarin zest, red forest berries, fine notes of oak, with liquorice and cranberry in the background. Medium complexity, red cherry, subtle fruit sweetness, ripe tannins, delicate nougat on the finish, a full-bodied food companion.
More about the tastingDark ruby in colour with purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, an inviting bouquet of fine oak spice, nuances of clove and cardamom, and a hint of cranberry and cassis. The palate is juicy, mineral, and saline with pronounced tannins and notes of red cherry, mandarin, and red berry nuances. Will benefit from some bottle ageing.
