The red wine Lorch Schloßberg Pinot Noir, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Cuba am Rhein has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Luscious fruits escape the glass: sloe liqueur, mulberry and pepper. Low sulphur, date and dried fig. The palate unleashes some power, powdery tannins build drive without astringency, vivid acidity and intense tactile and mineral notes balance the almost oily body. Full of character, and very distinctive.
