The white wine »Große Lage« Haardt Herzog Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Andres has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Golden yellow colour. Initial aroma of lemon balm, toffee, orange zest, fresh yeast, and a hint of bourbon vanilla. Still very youthful on the palate, chalky and mineral, yellow fruits, accompanied by linear acidity. Fine phenolic notes accompany the long finish. Will mature with elegance.
