The white wine »Vom Schiefer« Riesling feinherb, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Ansgar Clüsserath has been rated in 2026 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Yeasty aroma, grainy broth, but with increasing air contact also increasingly intense slate-spicy note. Rock flour, peppery, then also oat flakes. The palate is supple, the acidity seems quite ripe and harmonizes very well with the carefully balanced sweetness. With medium tension and good minerality, this is a harmoniously constructed, substantial estate wine.
