The white wine Winkel Riesling trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut August Eser has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
On the nose, aromas are initially characterised by floral notes, with lemon balm, elderflower, and apple blossom, plus peach, not too ripe and delicate spice. The palate is balanced with a rather mild, restrained acidity, fine citrus notes provide momentum, also apple and some white peach, with a subtle creaminess, medium complexity, and a mineral finish.
