The white wine »Reserve« Pinot Blanc, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Balthasar Ress has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Fine and dense on the nose, lemon, ripe apple, even apple peel, pear juice, cantaloupe melon, nutty hints, subtle brioche and wood spice. Lots of juiciness on the palate, yellow fruit paired with spice, fine and lively acidity in harmony with the texture, lean, yet good extract and length.
