The red wine »S« Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Befort has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Moselle in Germany.
On the nose, aromas of balsamic spice with ripe dark cherry, blackcurrant, plum, juniper berry and liquorice. The palate is broad with substance and power, and the alcohol is well integrated. There is dense extract, and plenty of spice. A Pinot Noir for the cold months in front of the fireplace.
