The red wine Duttweiler Kalkberg Spätburgunder GG, vintage 2012 from the winery Weingut Bergdolt Klostergut St. Lamprecht has been rated in 2014 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Plum, black cherry, chocolate, cedar, white pepper, mallow, balsamic notes, roasted notes thanks to the ageing. The mouthfeel is controlled by the still somewhat green tannin, soft fruit follows and is carried by a pleasantly ripe acidity and full-bodied extract sweetness. Some sour cherry and roasted, tart notes on the finish.
