The red wine Marienthal Trotzenberg Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Bertram-Baltes has been rated in 2018 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Raspberry and beetroot on the nose with kirsch, savoury slate notes, rock flour, almost peppery and with discreet wood. Very finely extracted tannin, lots of juiciness and supple with discreetly viscous layers, broad, but on the other hand almost slender in appearance. Subtle!
