Smoky-reductive, closed in the fruit. With air contact then opens to forest raspberry and "wild" notes. On the palate taut and gripping, immensely closed, unresolved tannin. Currently still unimpressive, somewhat lacking in the middle palate. More luxurious in the finish, finishes tight but then also somehow rich.
