The white wine Wallhausen Pastorenberg Riesling trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Bicking & Bicking has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Nahe in Germany.
The nose is already full of ripe aromas: Petrol, honey, ripe fruit, apricot and lemon zest. On the palate, in turn, the wine has very fresh acidity, complex body, still seems very youthful with certain ageing potential.
More about the tastingFrom the largely unknown top vineyard east of the village. A waxy nose shows petrol and apple skin, feeling a little muted. Much more exciting on the palate with lots of chalky freshness and beautiful substance. It's more persistent, but less fine than its Felseneck brother.
