Strong ruby colour with purple reflections and a broad, lighter rim. There is a delicately herbal-spicy-balsamic undertone to the aromas of black cherry, nuances of blackberry, a hint of tobacco, and a touch of minerality. In the mouth it is juicy and tight-knit, with fine red fruit notes, fresh acidity, and a saline and persistent finish. Definite ageing potential.
