Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, soft brightening on the rim. Subtle smoky notes with savoury herbs beneath dark wild berries, hints of liquorice, subtle oak and candied orange zest. Taut, tightly meshed, blackberries, vivid tannins, a mineral-saltiness, with a subtle fruit sweetness on the finish, will benefit from bottle ageing.
