The red wine Neuenahr Sonnenberg Spätburgunder, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Burggarten has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Ahr in Germany.
Radiant cherry fruit streams from the glass, with aromas of dark chocolate, leather and herbs after contact with the air. In the mouth, the wine is silky and finely textured, with ripe acidity and some texture in the background. A voluminous Ahr Pinot that nevertheless retains the elegance of the slate terroir.
