Tasting Notes
This has a brick red colour. On the nose there are aromas of rosehip, rock flour, pickled cherry, and darjeeling tea. It has smooth tannins on the palate, fine acidity, power, dark fruit, but also tobacco and undergrowth, and some cooked fruit. It is multi-layered and warm, with good structure and length.
More about the tastingOn the nose this has redcurrant, raspberry and pomegranate notes. It is a spicy and emphatically fresh aroma. There are two poles on the palate. One has a lovely smooth creaminess and lots of juice, and the other a well-integrated acidity with mellow and plump tannins. It is a Pinot Noir that combines richness and finesse.
