It has a deep garnet colour, with purple reflections, and a broad ochre rim. There are delicate aroma notes of dried plum, with some tar, dark berry fruit, and chocolate in the background. It is complex, juicy, and sweet, with a ripe plum flavour, vivid well-integrated tannins, power and persistence, some minerality on the finish, and a hint of nougat. It has further development potential.
