Tasting Notes
Deep ruby colour, purple reflections, with a broad ochre rim. Delicate notes of nougat and ripe plums, a hint of blackberry confit, herbal savouriness with tobacco undertones. Juicy, ripe heart cherries, round tannins, delicately chocolaty on the finish, lingers long, has length, good ageing potential.
More about the tastingDeep ruby in colour with purple reflections, and a subtle watery rim. On the nose, fine tobacco and herbal spice, a hint of cassis, subtly reductive, with some nougat, and a dark minerality. The palate is juicy, and nimble with well-integrated tannins, balanced and round with dark cherry fruit, and a delicately spicy finish, will benefit from bottle ageing.
