The red wine Puszta Libre, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Claus Preisinger has been rated in 2018 by Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Benjamin Herzog with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, St. Laurent from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There is an intense aroma of currant and cherry fruit, with some herbal savouriness, and a hint of blackberry, it is an attractive bouquet. It is juicy, with a fresh structure, a delicate mousse, a salty minerality, red berry fruit on the finish, discreet tannins, and good length. It is a multi-faceted food wine which can be enjoyed chilled.
