The orange wine Nuances de Gris, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Daniel Jaunegg has been rated in 2026 by Romana Echensperger, Valentine Mühlberger with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Southern Styria in Austria.
Onion skin color, discreetly cloudy. Aroma of smoke, wild berries, rosehip and sour cherry, plus hibiscus, nutty notes and rusk. Lots of juicy berry fruit on the palate, tart notes of rosehip, carried by a fine freshness and subtle melting. Fine-grained, well-integrated tannins, slender style at 12%. Good length, very harmonious orange wine and an excellent accompaniment to food.
