The red wine Südtiroler Vernatsch DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Donà has been rated in 2018 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Vernatsch, Pinot Noir from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, luminous ruby red with subtle brightening on the rim. Finely marked nose of fresh raspberries, violets and a touch of white pepper. Clear palate, builds nicely with fruit and soft tannins, is really fun, lingers long on the finish.
