The white wine Nieder-Flörsheim Frauenberg Riesling trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Engel has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Very deep colour, the nose needs a lot of air, but then shows herbaceous notes, caraway and anise. Very hard on the palate, with striking acidity and almost painful tannin, intensely mineral. An edgy Riesling that needs bottle age.
