The white wine »Elixier« Viognier, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Engel has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Viognier from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Wax, roasted crustacean carcass, sesame, also very ripe peach on the nose. On the palate, expansive, full-bodied and texture, with some wood and mellow grape tannin, chewy, very well-integrated acidity, great structural length, the aromas are still closed. Great substance.
