Tasting Notes
It has a deep dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There is a lovely cassis aroma, with a hint of oak spiciness, black pepper, and tangerine peel. On the palate it is juicy, elegant, complex, full-bodied, with velvety tannins, some black cherry fruit, and nougat on the back palate. It is a good food wine with certain ageing potential.
