The red wine Spätburgunder trocken Goldréserve, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Escher has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Dark raspberry and intense herbal savouriness, Keuper terroir effects. On the palate juicy with almost sweet fruit, mellow and grainy quite vivid tannins, despite its high density there is no astringency. It is quite homogeneous on the palate, with ripe acidity, and long and aromatic in the finish.
