Well-dosed notes of gooseberry, blackcurrant and fine smoke, some pear and melon emerge from the glass. Full-bodied on the palate with good substance and also power, shows good extract and also density, competent use of wood, fine, balanced acidity and good length. Has certain ageing potential for further development.
