Elderberry, black cherry, blueberry, and blackberry on the nose, with some fine roasted aromas, juniper and rhubarb too. The palate shows substance and depth. There's a savoury backbone with quite distinctive tannins that support the concentrated fruit. A powerful wine for the winter.
