The red wine Anna-Christina, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Franz und Christine Netzl has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Carnuntum in Austria.
It has a deep garnet colour, with purple reflections, and a subtle ochre rim. There are delicate fine oak aroma nuances, as well as ripe cherry, notes of plum, and discreet vanilla and caramel, it is an inviting bouquet. It is juicy, elegant, with a lovely fruit sweetness, ripe supporting tannins, some minerality, good persistence, and a note of cherry on the finish. It has reached its initial drinking maturity, and it has good further development potential.
