Dark ruby-garnet color with violet highlights and a delicate ochre-red tinge. Black berry fruit, a hint of olives and tapenade, and a spicy bouquet. Very full-bodied, with nuances of dark chocolate, cherry fruit, subtle tannic spice, and nougat on the finish; it has the character of a Central California Zinfandel and will benefit from aging.
