The white wine »Kalkgestein« Weißburgunder trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Friedrich Becker has been rated in 2018 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Yellow greenish in the glass, and pure on the nose. On the palate polished fruit, supported by clear acidity accents, with hints of clover blossom. It is subtle, but not without power, and with excellent length. It will be interesting to see how this wine develops.
